MotionSafe at Pwn2Own Automotive 2026 — Record Zero-Day Findings
In January, MotionSafe participated in the Pwn2Own Automotive 2026 cybersecurity challenge held in Tokyo, Japan, where global researchers tested the resilience of connected vehicle technologies. Over three days, 76 previously unknown (zero-day) vulnerabilities were responsibly disclosed across in-vehicle infotainment systems, EV chargers, and other automotive tech — setting a new benchmark for this event and highlighting the expanding attack surface in modern mobility.
This year’s results reinforce why proactive testing and collaboration between industry and white-hat researchers are essential to protecting software-defined vehicles and mobility infrastructure.
